About the Artist

Artist's Statement

"All of my life I have struggled with my art. Knowing inside, this was all I could to. I have experimented with every art material I could get my hands on, but became disillusioned with my art and resigned myself to seeking out a mainstream job.

Fortunately, shortly thereafter I discovered polymer clay...this pvc goodness that could be turned into anything my heart desired...I could pretend it's metal today, and tomorrow do glass, maybe a semi precious stone? how about a delicate floral watercolour painting? A decorative box, a sci-fi sculpture, home decor and jewelry all in one little package. I have never looked back!

My pallet is inspired by the earth, by the water and the plantlife, by the hidden creatures. Some might think my work is eclectic, but this is just a reflection of my personality, the girl with an affininity for things of a gothic nature who's just as happy sitting in the garden and rearing butterflies in her hatchery...at it's base, all my work is the same, my way of expressing to you who I am, and hoping you can identify with some part of me."
