Montreal Polymer Clay Guild

The Montreal Polymer Clay Guild was established in 1997 and just keeps growing. This very active and bilingual group meets monthly at the Visual Arts building in Westmount, Quebec. Bottles of hope workshops are frequently hosted and membership gets you monthly demos and access to the video and book library. For more information on joining this warm and unique group please contact Lynda Gould at Lyndago@sympatico.ca.

Don't forget to read the The MPCG in Polyzine.

Here is a selection of members work with pictures and contact information.

Upcoming events!

Dan Cormier and Tracy Holms workshops

The dates are finally confirmed:

October 20th - Friday - Tracy Holm workshop "A Day at the Beach"
Inspired by the shores of her island holm, Tracy has developed a beach bag full of tricks to make unreal pebbles that appear so microscopically natural, even geologists have been fooled. Learn to developed a surprising vast color palette using hardly and color at all. Recreate the grains, veins, cracks, crevices, textures, and water-worn forms of natural in pure polymer beach pebbles that are like the real thing, simple, unique, and elegant. $70.00

October 20-21 - Sat. & Sunday - Dan Cormier "Building Better Beads"
In this new class, Dan shares several original approaches to bead design, fabrication, and finishing. Learn to design and make your own dies and templates. Learn die-forming, draping, layering, shaping, bezeling and other techniques to create your own signature beads. A great companion to "The Cutting Edge",and the answer to that often-asked question" What do I do with all these veneers?"$140

I really need to know who will attend which or all workshops. They will take place at Nicole Landy's studio on Robert Burns in Cote St. Luc.

Some of you have replied to me as to your preference, but now we know the dates - which are better for those who are exhibiting at shows.
